So Recently I purchased a number of different controllers for the computers here (We will be doing a review on each of them).
The one I want to talk about today is the Thrustmaster T16000M.

Now getting into this in a bit more indepth. The T.A.R.G.E.T Software was free to download and so far I have found the scripts already for the games I have play and have not had the need to jump into the scripting aspect to get something working though I hear (read rather) this can be difficult if your not familiar with coding. Thrustmaster does provide documentation as to what you will need to do and learn.
As for the controls themselves I use this with Elite Dangerous and it works well I managed to adept and set the controls fairly easily. (With some easy adjustments The Joystick work left or right handed)
The only downside these controllers seem to be a lot of plastic on plastic or plastic on metal (very little if any metal on metal ) Components so the durability will be a factor in the over long term use. I have been impressed so far and plan to keep using them.
The Joystick itself features A Throttle and twist control and plenty of buttons that by itself it could be used just fine for most games. With the Throttle I disabled the twist on the Joystick as the throttle has paddles as well as the foot peddles when I use them.
The Setup was pretty much plug and play The Throttle and the Joystick each have a usb plug and the pedals plug into the throttle with RJ12 plug (Some of the other reviews seem to suggest you need this adapter and you do not if you use the throttle). You will have to go to the Thurstmaster website to download the TARGET software and they have Elite Dangrous Profile already ready for download and instructions on how to load profiles into the software.
During play everything was on point. No drift or calibration issues, everything was completely responsive. Plenty of buttons and combinations you can just about operate everything in the game from the controllers (Though sometimes it is easier with the mouse)
As I am playing Elite and gearing up for Star Citizen This joystick has been a great addition to different controllers I currently own and use. Would recommend this to anyone who was thinking of playing any type of Space/Flight Simulators
