Well, this time I went into the battle a bit over confident and quickly got shown just how new of a gamer I actually am…….

This weekend I chose to battle my husband on the game One Finger Death Punch. My husband’s friend shared his experience playing this game and told him to check it out. His friend is creating his own game as well but more to come from that down the road and no it’s not the interview I’m doing. He He I’ll keep you in suspense on that one. So what was I really thinking when I decided to try and compete with this seasoned gamer of mine. I mean come on my highest score has been like 70. I think my husband’s score was like 800. Well, in a few months I might tackle it again, but for now check out the seasoned gamer on some video clips of the game.

My weekend has been busy…I reached out to a game developer this week and interviewed him on the creation of his game and how he’s doing so far.  There’s a few more questions in the loop so it will be up later this week along with some screenshots of his game.

On my new game Middle-Earth- Shadow of War, man was the download suspenseful, I tried to stay up to play, but it was taking quite a while. SLOW…even with my new upgrades my husband did on my computer. Check out the post and pictures on that eventful experience! So I started out my weekend playing the new Middle Earth- Shadow of War which was released on October 10th and is a sequel to Middle Earth- Shadow of Mordor. The story continues of the ranger Talion and the spirit of the elf lord Celebrimbor who share a body as they forge a new Ring of Power to defeat the army against Sauron. I’m definitely liking the action role playing open world environment.  I started out in story mode and at the moment I’m up to a Level 4.  I think I’ve done quite well defeating the orcs so far and collecting gems as I go along which unlock additional gear. I’m planning on reviewing this game in 4 parts along with my husband’s point of view if I give him a chance to play it. It has a way of sucking you in. Growing up my dad and I would watch the cartoon of The Hobbit. As I got older, I followed the series with my family and continued to enjoy the story line. I like how they used The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings as a basis for the game. Look forward to a lot more of the review in detail as I’m just getting started.

There’s also a mobile version of the game Shadow of War. This is played as a real-time strategy game from a top-down perspective.  Players can use the Nemesis system here as well to gain advantages in battle. Shadow of War is released on PS4, XBOX One, and Microsoft Windows via Steam.  Check it out and come back next week and see how far I’ve got on my game! Don’t forget to like and share our page. Write a comment or share some experiences you had when you first started out with me.
